Logical Disintegration: Dylan Ratigan, Mad as Hell: His Epic 'Network' Moment

intelligentsia-in-flames:

We’ve got a real problem…this is a mathematical fact. Tens of trillions of dollars are being extracted from the United States of America.  Democrats aren’t fixing it, Republicans aren’t stopping it — an entire integrated system, banking, trade and taxation, created by both parties over a period of two decades is at work decimating our entire country right now. MSNBC’s Dylan Ratigan took it all on in this epic rant from his show today.

  • Please watch this. I promise you it’s more important than cute fucking cupcakes.

If you don’t understand Occupy Wall Street, don’t understand what the protesters are doing in New York instead of protesting Congress or marching on The White House since all their problems seem to be political in nature, take two minutes and watch this clip to educate yourself: the United States Congress is no longer controlled by politicians who are expressing your votes and your voice, it is controlled by what Wall Street wants because they’re allowed to control political campaign funding.

The brunette. Born and bred in the Philadelphia suburbs. Senior Illustration student at University of the Arts, with a focus on design. Enjoys using her drawing skills to make comics revolving around queer people, flouting her strict Catholic upbringing. Currently interning in NYC at a large publishing company, assisting with book cover designs and illustrations. Spends most of the 2 hour commute tumbling.

Likes admiring hand drawn typography and producing her own, the fine illustrations of JC Leyendecker, the works of JRR Tolkien, mens' fashions of the early 20th century, whiskey, super campy BBC programming, and anything that involves Stephen Fry. Very into classic rock and chinese food. Gryffindor.
